When you share a website link on places like Facebook and WhatsApp, a thumbnail image usually accompanies the link. Squarespace makes it really easy to add a “social image” that will appear on these links.

In previous videos I’ve shown how to do this for WordPress, but here is how you can do it for Squarespace (and P.S. it’s waaay easier) 👇

To change the image on your Squarespace website link:

  1. Access Page Settings: Go to the Pages list. Hover over the page name, click the gear icon.
  2. Navigate to Social Image Tab: Locate and click on the Social Image tab.
  3. Add Your Image: Upload the desired image to replace the default preview.
  4. Wait for the Update: Allow a moment for the image to load and see the immediate change in the link preview.

And that’s it!

Good luck!
