Now, I don’t say this to scare you, but I’ve been building websites long enough to know that simply having a website isn’t enough. You need to have the right website with on-point copy, and you need to have a strategy in place for utilizing it.
Look, there was a time that if you came to me and just wanted a pretty website – I would make you one. Even if (quite frankly) I thought your copy was crap and your offerings were not well thought through.
Most of those websites aren’t still up on the web.
Why? Because a pretty website isn’t enough to get paying clients. (Seems obvious, right?)
The ones that lasted took the time to develop leak-tight offerings and to craft copy that really got their message across. And they also had a marketing plan for their website.
